G Mattu

G Mattu is an adventurer, photographer and Soviet era arts and architecture aficionado. He has spent more than 2 years in Armenia documenting modernist architecture and, particularly, monumental art pieces, such as frescoes, bass-reliefs and stained glass samples. Thanks to his enthusiasm and courage, which was required not in little quantity in order to get into many of those buildings that are locked and decaying for already decades, hundreds of magnificent soviet era monumental art pieces that are unappreciated and forgotten have been documented and now presented to the attention and admiration of the specialists and the general public.
